1. Book me.

Interested in custom photography for your furry babies? Email me to reserve your date and begin the process. I’m available from Monday to Saturday, and on occasion, Sunday afternoons.

Note: A 50% down payment will be required to reserve your date.

2. Plan.

Once you’ve booked a date, we begin a pre-session consultation. Let me know what you like, or if you have any concepts already in mind, and together we’ll customize your perfect session.

During this time, I’ll ask you some questions about your pet –- his/her favorite toys, treats, activities, places, words or commands he/she responds to, etc. I’ll also ask you to share a bit about what you love and enjoy most about your pet. Knowing as much as I can about you and your pet will help me create images that authentically reflect the pet you know and love and capture the special bond you have with him/her.

We’ll also discuss possible locations for your session, perhaps a place that is personal to you and your pet. It could be in your home, your backyard, your village park, your pet’s favorite trail, a city sidewalk, a famous landmark,  at the beach, or wherever you and your pet can be most comfortable and where I can be most creative. Because I shoot primarily with natural light, I do prefer the outdoors. However, we can work indoors too (especially with cats). All I’ll need is a big window.

Got a big family of humans? Great! The more, the merrier! They can all be part of the session. Let me know who they are and how many they’ll be. It’ll be a great time to get a fun, (and complete) family portrait — furry members included!

3. Shoot.

Now the fun really begins! On the day of the session, I allot the first few moments for a little meet-and-greet that way your pet can get comfy with me before we begin the shoot. Depending on your pet’s mood or energy level that day, we might play for a while or simply hang out and get to know each other.

During each session, I come prepared with an arsenal of toys and treats your pet will enjoy. (If your pet has a favorite toy or treat that you’d like to bring as well, then that would be great!) Depending on the kind or number of pets you have, I may also bring an assistant with me to help out.

Once I start shooting, I won’t stop until I have shots I know you’ll totally love. I usually like starting off with lots of active play shots first, and then do the more relaxed ones last. For most shots, I’ll ask you not to mind me, or to pretend I’m not there. Other times I may direct you a bit. Although I fancy more candid and natural shots, I enjoy posed ones as well.

4. Get a sneak-peek.

Within a few days of the shoot, you’ll get a sneak-peek of your session on my site/ blog and Facebook page. Gotta share the love!

5. View all your images.

Within 1-2 weeks of the shoot, and after I’ve meticulously retouched each of your images, I’ll send you a link to your own private online proofing gallery. Your gallery will remain active for 10 days to give you ample time to make your print and product selections.

6. Order.

All prints and products, except those included in a special session or promo package, are ordered a la carte. Collections are available too. As soon as your orders are placed and down payment is made, production begins.

Note: It takes about 1-2 weeks for prints and 2-3 weeks for canvas wraps and other products.

7. Receive your prints & products.

Once done, then comes yet another fun part for me — wrapping them up! (I just love packaging!) As soon as your prints and products are all packed and pretty, I’ll contact you. I’ll either deliver them to your doorstep, or to various pick-up points around metro south.
