1. Why does it cost so much?
It’s alright. I used to ask myself the same question! Haha! Here’s a good article about custom photography that I’d like to recommend. It has been very well received by the photography community in the U.S. and a lot of photographers refer to the same article when asked this question.
Read the article here.
2. Can I be in the picture too?
Of course! By all means! Remember… one of my goals is to be able to capture the bond people have with their pets. So although I do spend a lot of time during the session photographing just the pet, and do agree to “pet-only” sessions if that is what clients ask for, I especially love it when both pet and human are in the picture.
3. What should I wear?
It will really depend on the particular concept we come up with for your session. But basically, just wear something comfy. If you’re two people or more, you don’t need to be all “matchy-matchy”, just coordinate. Oh… and wear good shoes.
4. My pet can’t go off-leash. Is that okay?
That’s fine. I find that leashes can sometimes even add a nice touch to some shots. For other shots where the leash gets in the way or distracts, I simply remove it during post-production.
5. What happens if it rains or if I have to cancel/postpone?
No worries! If the weather isn’t ideal, we can always reschedule. Your down payment will then be applied towards your new session date.
If you need to cancel/postpone for other reasons, I’ll need to be notified at least 48 hours before our scheduled session or your down payment will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
