Hello!  I’m DENISE TABUENA-LUMBAD.  Welcome! Here you’ll get a glimpse of my adventures as a part-time pet photographer and find helpful information about the work I do. From time to time, you might also get a more personal peek into my life as a full-time wife, mom and regular human being, living and loving under God’s amazing grace. Basically, you’ll get to see what touches and inspires me. So brace yourselves and expect some occasional mush.

I live in the Philippines with the loves of my life – my husband Cisco and my son Franco.  We share our home with a dog named Edward whom we adopted in 2009 and who has since become a cherished, invaluable member of our family.

Growing up I had every kind of pet – canine, feline, you name it. I cared for them as best as I could for as long as they lived. But I really think that in the end they did more for me than I could ever do for them. If you’ve ever loved a pet, or had a pet love you, then you’ll know what I mean. It really is a relationship worth celebrating, and a story worth telling. That’s what I hope to do, and help others do, through my work.

Apart from pets and photography, I also love: ballet, Marabou chocolate, cheese, Muji pens, potatoes cooked in every kind of way, romance, the beach at night, the mountains by day, Oreos and milk, storage bins and containers in all shapes and sizes, musicals, massages, wrapping up Christmas gifts, staying home on a rainy day, chick flicks, noodles, fixing up houses, the scent of new notebooks, my siblings, almost everything chewy and gooey and sweet, IKEA, Spanish hot chocolate on New Year’s Eve, construction sites (weird, I know), snuggling in bed, rays of late afternoon sunlight, a cool breeze, and a starry sky. Above all else, I love God and have a special place in my heart for His church and what He is doing in it and through it.

I pray that the images I capture and the stories they tell would bring glory to Him, my gracious Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ – Maker of all creatures big and small, and the Greatest Storyteller of us all.
